Deajha Williams Smith, a 15-year-old from Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost her life on September 15, 2020. Deajha was shot and killed at the Pollard Street Playground in the Lindenwood community of Norfolk. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Deajha was known for her love of dancing and the color purple, and she had just started her freshman year at Granby High School.
