Dejana Kiki Leary, a 15-year-old from Norfolk, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on July 22, 2018. Dejana, known for her vibrant personality and aspirations of becoming a pediatrician, was sitting in her parked SUV outside her boyfriend's house when the incident occurred. An assailant, later identified as Deiontrae Bates, fired into her vehicle, fatally wounding her.
