In the quiet evening of November 12, 2020, the life of 25-year-old Eriq D. Coleman, a male resident of Richmond, was tragically cut short in Chesterfield, Virginia. Around 7:40 p.m., Chesterfield County police responded to a report of a shooting in the 9500 block of Cattail Road. Shortly after, a second call came in about a male who had been shot. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Coleman at the scene, having succumbed to his injuries.
