On a Tuesday afternoon in November 2020, the life of 30-year-old Julian Rashad Martin, a Black male from Reston, Virginia, was tragically cut short. On November 24th, at approximately 2:25 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the 1000 block of Queens Court in Herndon. Upon their arrival, they discovered Martin lying in the street, suffering from grave injuries. He was rushed to a nearby Reston hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his wounds.
