In the early morning hours of May 9, 2021, a call was made to the Roanoke Police Department regarding a person with a gunshot wound outside a business in the 4300 block of Williamson Road NE. Upon their arrival at approximately 2:40 a.m., officers discovered Alvin Isa Kasey, a 40-year-old male, lying in a parking lot with a serious gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for medical attention.
