In the pre-dawn hours of July 3, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet in a Chesterfield County neighborhood. When police arrived at the 3000 block of Lancers Boulevard around 4:11 a.m., they found a man lying dead from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 31-year-old Ever Edgardo Flores Moya.
