Malik Elijah Perry, a 20-year-old resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on July 23, 2021. The incident occurred early in the morning outside an apartment complex on Reid Street. According to reports, Chesapeake Police responded to a call at approximately 12:22 a.m. and found Perry suffering from gunshot wounds.
