In the early morning hours of August 6, 2021, a burst of gunfire in the parking lot of Your Place Sports Bar & Grill in Chesterfield, Virginia, brought a tragic end to the life of 24-year-old Daquan K. Berry. The violent encounter, which unfolded around 3:15 a.m., also claimed the life of 23-year-old Ockelle Ty-Quan Duncan of Richmond and left a third individual with life-threatening injuries.
