In the quiet early hours of a Wednesday morning in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of 21-year-old Lindsey Pearl Shook was tragically cut short. On September 15, 2021, Lindsey was discovered unresponsive in a car parked at a gas station on Melrose Avenue NW. When police and emergency services arrived at the scene around 12:15 a.m., they found her with critical injuries. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of her death was later determined to be a gunshot wound.
