Sarah Elizabeth Costine, aged 44, tragically lost her life on November 3, 2021, in Norfolk, Virginia. Sarah, who was also known by her Muslim name Sa’idah, was a beloved mother and a resilient individual who had overcome multiple battles with cancer. On the night of her death, Sarah was in the Young Terrace neighborhood when she heard gunfire and rushed to assist a 19-year-old pregnant woman who had been shot. Unfortunately, Sarah was also shot and killed during this incident.
