On the evening of May 12, 2022, tragedy struck in the 100 block of Forest Oak Lane in Suffolk, Virginia, when Dimitrius Trevell Bryant, a 38-year-old male, was fatally shot. The Suffolk 911 Center began receiving multiple calls about shots being fired in the area at approximately 7:45 PM. When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man who had sustained gunshot wounds.
