In the summer of 2022, on the first of July, the life of 29-year-old Karlton Antonio Arline, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Suffolk, Virginia. Known affectionately as "Chuckie" to his loved ones, Arline was found with gunshot wounds in the 600 block of First Avenue after Suffolk Police responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 10:50 p.m. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
