In the early morning hours of July 11, 2022, the life of 33-year-old Matthew Joseph Tommasso, a male resident of Chesterfield, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Chippendale Court around 5:10 a.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Tommasso suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
