In the quiet area of Woodlawn, Virginia, the life of 30-year-old Laura Caroline “Carrie” Buffkin was tragically cut short on July 27, 2022. Emergency services were dispatched to a residence on Fairlawn Lane around 11:30 a.m. following a report of an unresponsive woman. Upon their arrival, they discovered Carrie Buffkin deceased at the scene, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
