On the cold morning of Christmas Eve in 2022, the life of 31-year-old Timothy B. Anderson II, a Black or African American man, was tragically cut short by gun violence in Hampton, Virginia. Emergency services responded to a call about a shooting in the 1600 block of West Pembroke Avenue at approximately 3:20 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Anderson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
