In the summer of 1972, a deeply disturbing event shattered the peace of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. On June 21st, Joseph A. DePalma, a 44-year-old man, went to work at the Heritage Building, unaware of the tragedy that would soon unfold. His life was abruptly cut short when a private security guard named Edwin Grace began a shooting spree within the office building.
DePalma was one of twelve individuals shot by Grace, and one of six who tragically lost their lives that day in what became known as the Heritage Building Massacre.
