In the quiet suburban town of Teaneck, New Jersey, a horrific tragedy shattered the lives of the Diggs family. On December 6, 1975, Wesley Diggs, a 40-year-old Black male and successful entrepreneur who owned several businesses in Harlem, returned to his home to a scene of unimaginable horror. Inside, he discovered the lifeless bodies of his entire family. His wife, Jean, aged 39, and their four children, Audrey, 17, Allison, 16, Wesley Jr., 12, and Roger, 5, had all been shot to death.
