In the early morning hours of June 16, 2007, a dispute in Camden, New Jersey, turned deadly, claiming the life of 28-year-old Mariano Vega Jr. The fatal encounter unfolded on the 300 block of Chestnut Street, where Vega and his younger brother, Eduardo, became embroiled in an argument with another individual. The confrontation escalated tragically when a handgun was drawn and multiple shots were fired.
