In the summer of 2009, a dispute tragically cut short the life of 23-year-old Jonathan Paraison. A resident of Asbury Park, New Jersey, Paraison was born in Neptune. On the evening of June 27th, he found himself in a confrontation directly across the street from his family's home on 11th Avenue in Neptune. The disagreement, which his mother later vaguely described as stemming from 'a baby thing,' escalated to a fatal point.
