In the late hours of a cold January night in Atlantic City, the life of 26-year-old Uthman Griffin was tragically cut short. On January 13, 2012, police responded to reports of a shooting near Browns Park, just outside the School House Apartments on Arctic Avenue. Upon their arrival around 11:30 p.m., they discovered Griffin with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate medical attention he received, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
