In the late hours of a summer evening in Camden, New Jersey, tragedy befell a young man. On August 4, 2014, Nathaniel Kirkpatrick, a 27-year-old male resident of the city, was found shot on a sidewalk in the 2900 block of Octagon Road. The discovery was made at approximately 10 p.m., shattering the quiet of the neighborhood.
