In September 2014, a domestic dispute in Paterson, New Jersey, ended in the tragic death of 26-year-old Jackie Delarosa-Rodriguez. The young woman was fatally shot in the head in the garage of her home. The events leading up to her death began with an argument with her ex-boyfriend, which witnesses overheard shortly before the sound of gunshots pierced the night.
