In the winter of 2015, the life of a young Newark man was tragically cut short. Dennis M. Brooks, a 25-year-old male, was in the South Ward of the city on the evening of January 28th when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Osborne Terrace, a residential street that became the scene of a sudden and irreversible act of violence.
