In the late hours of a Friday night in Camden, New Jersey, the life of 19-year-old Johnathan Simmons was tragically cut short. On August 28, 2015, at approximately 11:25 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire at the Northgate I Apartments. There, in the rear lot of the building, they found the young male resident lying on the ground, having sustained gunshot wounds.
