On the evening of Wednesday, July 20th, 39-year-old Ahmad Cauthen, a male resident of Orange, was on Central Avenue when his life was abruptly ended by gunfire. The shooting marked another tragic event in a series of violent incidents that had plagued the city, prompting concern and calls for action from the community.
