In the early morning hours of September 11, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet at a Shell gas station in Trenton, New Jersey, leaving two young men dead and another critically injured. One of the victims was Kordrese Robinson, a 21-year-old Black male from Trenton. The shooting, which occurred at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Chambers Street, also claimed the life of 16-year-old Jahday Twisdale. A third individual, a 19-year-old man, was also shot but survived his injuries.
