In the early evening of March 23, 2017, the life of 23-year-old Marquis Sanders was tragically cut short. At approximately 7:40 p.m., Trenton police responded to a call about a man down in an alley on Cleveland Avenue. There, they discovered Sanders, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
