In the early morning hours of a December Sunday in Trenton, New Jersey, the life of Ronald Parker, a 45-year-old Black man, came to a violent end. On December 17, 2017, Parker was found behind the wheel of a crashed Acura, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:05 a.m. The car he was driving had collided with a fence near the intersection of Asbury and Steamboat streets in the South Trenton area.
