In what was initially believed to be a suicide, the death of 22-year-old Floyd Tigney on September 18, 2016, was later declared a homicide, leading to the arrest of a suspect. Tigney, a male resident of Clifton, New Jersey, was discovered deceased in a Paterson, New Jersey home with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
