Keywon Savage, a 20-year-old male from Newark, New Jersey, was a celebrated high school basketball star with a promising future that was tragically cut short. On the evening of Sunday, November 27, 2016, at approximately 7:40 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire on the 200 block of South 11th Street. Arriving officers found Savage at the scene with gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to University Hospital for treatment.
