In the late hours of a Sunday evening in December 2019, the city of Newark was rattled by an act of violence that claimed the life of 54-year-old Patrick Wollingston. On that night, at approximately 11 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of South 9th Street and 13th Avenue.
