In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 57-year-old Romulo Luzuriaga was brought to a tragic and violent end. On May 11, 2023, at approximately 10:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Grafton Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Luzuriaga inside a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to University Hospital, but his injury proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m.
