On a cold December evening in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the life of 32-year-old Dexter Dunston was tragically cut short. On Friday, December 2, 2016, authorities responded to a 911 call around 8:00 p.m. reporting a man down on the 700 block of 3rd Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Dunston, a male resident of the city, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and Dunston was quickly transported to Jersey Shore University
