In the late evening hours of November 2, 2021, the life of 24-year-old Dymir Leonard was cut tragically short on the streets of Asbury Park, New Jersey. Shortly after 9:45 p.m., an off-duty Asbury Park police lieutenant discovered Leonard at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Bangs Avenue. Leonard had been shot and was in dire need of medical attention.
