In the summer of 2019, on the evening of Friday, June 14th, the life of 23-year-old Jehadje McMillian was tragically cut short in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Gunshots erupted around 10:44 p.m. in the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue, prompting numerous 911 calls. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered McMillian in a courtyard, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for medical attention.
