In the late hours of a December night in 2016, the life of 34-year-old Nakeama Nokes, a Black/African American female, was tragically cut short in her Camden, New Jersey home. On December 21st, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the mother of four and grandmother was fatally shot inside a residence at the Ablett Village housing complex.
