In the early morning hours of a Sunday in March 2017, violence shattered the quiet of a Newark, New Jersey street, leaving a family and community to mourn a life cut short. Tyrone Frazier, a 41-year-old man from Newark, was gunned down on the 600 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard. The shooting occurred on March 26, 2017, a day that would become marked by a series of unrelated shootings in the city.
