Eddie D. Lewis, a 46-year-old African American man from Akron, OH, tragically died on November 24, 2019. He was shot during an altercation with another man in the 1400 block of Tonawanda Avenue in Akron's Goodyear Heights neighborhood. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death a homicide, as he succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest.
