In the early morning hours of August 27, 2017, the life of 22-year-old Davon Owens was tragically cut short on a street in his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey. Gunshots echoed near the intersection of North Main and Jefferson streets shortly after 2 a.m., prompting a police response. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Owens, a young male, suffering from gunshot wounds.
