In the summer of 2021, the life of 36-year-old Victor Vasquez, a male resident of Paterson, New Jersey, was abruptly cut short by an act of gun violence. On the evening of August 15th, at approximately 8:08 p.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the relative peace near the intersection of Main and Thomas streets. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
