Keyantay Deas, a 37-year-old male, was walking in the area of 327 12th Avenue at approximately 8:40 p.m. when he was ambushed. Two unidentified individuals, both armed with handguns, reportedly approached Mr. Deas and opened fire, striking him multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Deas was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of his severe gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
