In the late hours of a Thursday in Newark, New Jersey, the life of a talented 24-year-old man, Shakill Inzar-Springer, was tragically cut short. On September 20, 2018, at approximately 11:27 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the 100 block of Riverside Court, a housing complex in the city's North Ward. Inzar-Springer, a resident of Newark and a graduate dance major from Arts High School, was the victim of this violent act.
