In the winter of 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm at a Camden, New Jersey intersection, leaving a man fatally wounded. On Wednesday, January 16th, at approximately 2:48 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at the corner of Morton and Norris Streets. Arriving officers discovered 39-year-old Mutota Amon on the ground, unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
