In the spring of 2019, the life of a young Plainfield man was cut short in a local park. Wykil Sherrod Jr., a 20-year-old male, was found deceased on April 10, 2019. His body was discovered near a picnic table in Green Brook Park, a place familiar to the neighborhood.
