In the early hours of Christmas morning in 2013, a tragic event unfolded in Plainfield, New Jersey, forever altering the lives of one family. Rashad Daye, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot in the area of Park Avenue and East Ninth Street. The incident occurred at approximately 5:33 a.m., shattering the peace of the holiday.
