Javier Morales, a 40-year-old male resident of Trenton, New Jersey, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Thursday, May 2, 2019. The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. in the vicinity of Hudson and Pearl streets. Trenton police responded to a report of shots fired and discovered Morales at the scene, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
