In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Newark, New Jersey, the life of Clifford Cajou was tragically cut short. On October 27, 2019, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Hartford Street at approximately 2:40 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The 43-year-old man from Irvington was quickly transported to University Hospital.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Clifford Cajou was pronounced dead at 3:18 a.m.
