On the evening of November 18, 2019, 49-year-old Hassan Webb was walking home from work on the 100 block of South 8th Street in Newark, New Jersey, when his life was tragically cut short. Caught in the crossfire of a gun battle, Webb was struck by the gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene around 6:39 p.m. He was a married man of over two decades who had recently relocated to the neighborhood with his wife.
