Me Alif Carr, a 38-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, May 31, 2018, in Newark, New Jersey. The incident occurred at approximately 7:57 p.m. in the vicinity of Hunterdon Street and Lehigh Avenue. Carr was standing outside near a parked car when he was targeted.
