On a cold February evening, the city of Trenton was shaken by a burst of violence that claimed the life of 25-year-old Khalil Griffin-Gibbs. The shooting unfolded on February 22, 2021, at a Sunoco service station on Sanhican Drive, a scene that would soon be swarming with law enforcement. When Trenton police officers arrived at approximately 6:30 p.m., they discovered two men who had been shot. Both were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
